2013: Collecting Alibis

A core part of Amie Dicke’s practice is the collection of unusual objects which often form the starting point of a work. Having noticed the word “alibi” cropping up a lot in material that she was reading, Dicke started to refer to her objects as alibis, and the idea became the title of her 2013 show at the Amsterdam gallery Stigter van Doesburg.
