2017: Stadsarchief Delft
Amie Dicke was invited to create permanent artworks for the new building of Stadsarchief Delft, the city of Delft’s archive which had been redesigned by Office Winhov in collaboration with Gottlieb Paludan.
On exploring the archive’s historic contents, Dicke gravitated towards one album of black-and-white group photographs from the 1960s. Students from these group portraits had been identified using transparent overlays, correction fluid and numbers written in ballpoint pen. Dicke set about zooming in on these strangely anonymous individuals.
