2013: The Tolerant Home
For the show ‘Chambres des Canaux: The Tolerant Home’ curator Siebe Tettero invited artists to take up residence in some of Amsterdam’s most notable canal houses, using them as inspiring exhibition spaces.
Inside the property at Keizersgracht 387 known as de vergulde ster (“the gilded star”) Amie Dicke displayed photographic works including The Ring and the Finger as well as her first grouping of “corrected artworks”: existing works that Dicke covered with the ink from thousands of Bic pens.
