2005: Verwilder

In 2005, the art and fashion publishing house Visionaire hosted an exhibition of monumental cut-outs by Amie Dicke in its gallery space in Soho, New York City.
The show was timed to coincide with two other Visionaire projects featuring the artist: a collaboration with Mario Sorrenti that appeared in the pages of V magazine and a book with photography by Mario Testino.
Sensing that her work’s appearance in such a fashionable context represented a “full-circle” moment, Dicke decided at the time it was a good moment to leave her cut-out work behind her for a while.
